Our Story

Built by an Engineer.
Inspired by a Missed Call.

Clienteva was born from watching hardworking tradespeople lose jobs they earned. Not because of their skill. Because they couldn't answer the phone while doing the work.

Saul never misses a call

Two Missed Calls.
One Big Idea.

My dad ran a cleaning business. My brother cuts grass. Both of them are great at what they do, and both of them have lost jobs they never knew they had.

A customer calls while dad's elbow-deep in a job. The phone rings, goes to voicemail, and by the time he calls back they've already hired someone else. The work was never the problem. Availability was.

Same thing with my brother. Mowing a lawn, can't hear his phone, misses a lead for a seasonal contract worth thousands. That's not laziness. That's the reality of running a one or two-person operation in a trade that demands your full attention while you work.

As a mechanical engineer, I look at everything as a system. And the system for most Metro Detroit contractors has a clear failure point: the gap between when a customer calls and when they actually hear back. That gap costs $400, $800, sometimes $2,000 per missed call.

I built Saul to close it.

From Problem to Platform

The Problem
Watching Good Tradespeople Lose Good Jobs
Dad's cleaning business. Brother's lawn care. Watching them do good work and still lose jobs because they couldn't pick up the phone while doing that work. That's what started this.
The Engineering Lens
Finding the Failure Point
Mechanical engineers don't accept "that's just how it is." Every system breaks somewhere. For contractors, it breaks at the response gap: the window between a customer's call and actually getting a real answer. I set out to fix it.
The Build
Saul, Built for Trades
Most AI answering services were designed for offices and call centers. I built Saul specifically for HVAC techs, plumbers, and electricians in Metro Detroit. It speaks their language, quotes their pricing ranges, detects emergencies, and books real appointments.
Today
Helping Metro Detroit Contractors Capture Every Call
Saul is live, answering calls and texts 24/7 for contractors across Metro Detroit. After-hours calls, busy season overflow, texts while you're on a ladder. Every one of those is now a captured opportunity.

AI That Works With You.
Not Around You.

🤝
Relationship First
Saul keeps your customer relationships intact. When someone calls at 8 PM and gets a real response, they feel taken care of. That's what builds loyalty, not just booked appointments.
⚙️
Engineered, Not Templated
We don't hand you generic software and wish you luck. Every deployment is built and tuned for your trade, your pricing, your service area, and how you want emergencies handled.
📈
It Pays for Itself
At $497/month, Saul needs to capture one or two jobs to cover the cost. Most contractors see it pay off in the first week. The math works in your favor every single month.

Built Like a System.
Because That's What It Is.

A lot of "AI answering services" are glorified voicemail with a chatbot layer on top. Generic scripts, clunky responses, nothing tuned for how a real contractor actually runs their day.

Saul was built by someone who thinks in systems. As a mechanical engineer, I know that nothing performs well if the components aren't calibrated together. The voice prompts, SMS sequences, emergency protocols, and booking logic are all written specifically for trades work, not adapted from some call center template.

We also stay involved after setup. We track performance, make adjustments, and keep Saul running well as your business grows and changes.

What Makes Us Different

01

Built for Metro Detroit Trades

We're local. We know Metro Detroit's service areas, the contractor culture here, and what homeowners expect when they call a plumber or HVAC tech at 9 PM.

02

We Handle the Setup

You don't configure anything. We build it, tune it to your business, test it, and hand you something that works. You show up to the jobs Saul books.

03

You Work with Ray, Not a Support Queue

No tickets. No outsourced support. You have direct access to the person who built the system and understands your business. That's how it should work.

04

Clear Numbers Every Week

Every week you get a report showing calls handled, appointments booked, and revenue captured. You'll always know exactly what Saul is doing for your business.

"We automate the response, not the relationship. Your customers get a real answer fast. You get back to the work you're good at."
